Happy Holidays: New Years

          New Years is the day when most people celebrate the new year that has come. On New Years Eve most people stay awake until 12:00am so they can celebrate the first of the new year. When my family and I rejoice the new year we normally plan a celebration party and invite everyone we know. We invite people such as family and friends to come and have a good time with us on this occasion. This is how I spend the holiday called New Years.

Wonderful Desserts

            This is my favorite part of going to restaurants because you can get a tasy treat. Have you ever been full of food and can't eat anymore but, you can always eat a little treat called dessert. Well my favorite dessert is ice cream. I love this dessert because every time you eat ice cream it's like a cold chill but, it still taste so good. My favorite ice cream is Coffee or Pastachio. I like these two types of ice cream because they both have a different taste than others. When I eat ice cream I eat another dessert called churros because ice cream and churros go together. What I mean is that they taste alright together. A churro is just a stick of dough with either cinamon on the top or a type of filling in the inside. This may sound so disturbing right now but when you try it you will be in heaven. This is why ice cream and churros are my favorite desserts.

The Dish That Shines

      The dish that shines to me is chili.The reason I think this is because when you eat chili it's like heaven. The taste just flows and melts in your mouth like a rainbow. Also, when you eat chili the meat and the seasonings add a nice touch to the beans. Chili is one of my favorite dishes. In my house this is one we eat very seldom but still it's my favorite. So next time you can't think of a meal to eat for dinner pick chili.

Happy Holiday: Christmas

     Christmas is just around the corner and so is the end of the year. I always thought Thanksgiving was one the  best holiday but you know actually Christmas is. I say this because on Thanksgiving all you do is eat food well as on Christmas you get gifts. I love getting gifts because you get new things that you don't have. Also you have more things to put in collections if you collect  things.Every time I think of Christmas the first thing I think about are gifts and not the whole meaning of Christmas happening. The true meaning is to serve our savior's birthday. This is why you should think of Christmas whole meaning before the gifts.

Dinner Tonight

Tonight we had type of Mexican food. We had tacos. Tacos are so good  that you can eat them all day. I always eat tacos and never get tired of them. In my taco there is ground turkey, shredded cheese,lettuce, and the special taco sauce. Tacos just make you want to melt down. So next time you eat dinner pick tacos.

Happy Holiday: Thanksgiving

         Thanksgiving is a holiday when you eat, spend time with your family, and give thanks. When people think of Thanksgiving the first thing that pops in their mine is probably food. I say this because I know people love food, so they think about all the good food that they are going to eat. Also, on Thanksgiving people go to other family members houses and play games and talk to their family members. On Thanksgiving I go to my Aunt's house and my family and I eat, and play games all night. Then, all of the women look through the magazines for the next day. Finally, in the morning they all go to the stores. I think Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays. I say this because I like to spend time with my family. This is normally how my Thanksgiving goes.

Exciting Holidays: Halloween

You know halloween just passed I bet it was fun. I am going to tell the fun things that people do on halloween. People do a lot of things on halloween. They go to neighborhood houses for candy. This activity is called trick-or-treating. Also, some just sit at home pass out candy and also eat candy. Even though candy can get your teeth rotten it sooooo good. If you eat candy your teeth won't always rot just make sure you brush your teeth and floss. If you do this task your teeth should be just find. On halloween I go trick-or-treating to my neighbors houses. Next, I go home and dump my candy on the floor in my house. Then, I check all my candy to make sure it is not open or has anything in it that can harm my body. Finally, I eat some of the deli.....cious candy I recieved. This is why halloween is an exciting holiday.

Favorite TV Show

Disney Channel is one of the best channels to watch TV shows to me. I think this because  they have a lot of funny shows. One of my favorite shows that is new is A.N.T  Farm. I think this because one of my favorite actress is China Ann MCclain. I like her acting because she really does the acting with passion. Another show she is in is on the TBS channel www.Tbs.com. The show is called House Of Payne. This show is funny also because it has so many good actress. Like China Ann MCclain, Cassie Davis,Larramie Doc Shaw,Demetria McKinney,LaVan Davis, Lance Gross,Allen Payne. I like this show because it is a lot of  family problems.At the end it works out and they all  love and care for each other again. This is why these are 2 of my favorite TV shows.

Fashion's Whole Meaning

 Most people think that fashion means to just wear clothes that look nice. In my opinion fashion is your own type of style. You can where anything you like in the world and people are going to judge you. You should not be digusted or irritated about the person's judging because that might not be there style. Everybody has a different style and it is not always the same type of style you have. Fashion is what you choose it to be. This is what my opinion of the word fashion is to me.

Me Time

 What do you think Me Time is? The reason I call this Me Time  is because it is a time for yourself. What I mean is there are so many ways to have Me Time you can read a book, listen to music, play a game, write in a diary,ect. The way I spend me time is reading a book. When I just want to spend some time to myself  I read a book. You can do it to. This how I spend my Me Time.

Places for Kids to Have Fun

The most  recent kids fun place I have visited was Chuck E. Cheese. I went there on Saturday for my sister's birthday party. I had a lot of fun there. When we first arrived there my family and I went to the table that had her name on the balloon. Immediately, my sister saw her crown on the end of the table. The crown means that you are the birthday girl/boy. Next, I took her on the rides with the eight tokens that were placed inside her crown. Then, I brought her back to the table and her friend Avery had just arrived.

While they greeted one another I left and went to get me some tokens for the games for the older kids. Shortly after more guest arrived and the party really began.  We ate pizza, had cake and ice cream and played with Chuck E Cheese.

When the party was close to the end I counted all my tickets. In order to get better prizes, my cousin and I decided to put our tickets together and it summed up as 410 tickets.  I went to turn them in I got a bag of cotton candy and my cousin got 10 airheads. Finally, I counted my sisters tickets and she had 880 tickets. She got a bracelet, cotton candy, and some play-dough that comes with play-dough cutters. After that it was time to leave. My sister said by to Chuck E. Cheese. I really enjoyed myself at this family event.

Outside Family Time

My family and I visit a lot of places throughout the city and state. The places where we go are restaurants, bowling alleys, skating rinks, movies, vacation, or even right outside our house. For example, when my family and I go to restaurants we have a great time. We have a great time by talking, laughing, and even sometimes just being silly. Also, going to the movies is one of my family's favorite family activities, because we go see mystery or action movies. The reason we select movies like this is because of the suspense and action that happens. I like going on vacation the most. I like traveling the most because I get away from home.  This is another reason why I like spending time with my family.

Spending Time With My Family

Spending time with  my family is important to me.  During family time I play board games such as Life, Clue, Monopoly, Bingo, and Scrabble with my parents and sister. Also, when I spend time with my family I talk and laugh with them. Some topics we discuss are about school, my parent's jobs and other topics of interest. These are just a few ways I spend time with my family. Stay tune to my next blog.

A pastry chef is one of the things I want to be when I grow up because I love to cook, especially desserts.As a pastry chef I would have the chance to travel, study art formations and most of all enjoy my favorite part of the meal. Also,while traveling different parts of the world, I would have the opportunity to taste desserts from other countries. Pastry chefs need to know how to prepare desserts that are appealing and tasty.

 

Pastry Chefs

Pastry chefs are chefs that mainly do the dessert part of cooking. Pastry chefs should learn how to work with all kinds of dough. Pastry chefs make a lot of things such as breakfast rolls or croissants and other desserts like ice cream, doughnuts, cakes, pies, churros, ect. they work in places such as bakeries, restaurants, markets, hotels, and sometimes even theme parks. They begin there days very early they can start baking at 3 or 4am. They make between $10.06 and $14.79 per hour on and average. In total it comes out between $23,773 and $40,698 per year as of 2010. To become a pasrty chef you have to have great pesentation,and organization. You have to know how to put products together to make a final product. You have to follow steps such as how much quantity and the order of things. They also work long hours and are mostly on thier feet. You have to have creativity and the ability to make customers eyes glow. This is what pastry chefs do and how to become and pastry chef.
